Tours embark from public boat ramps, various private boat ramps  and  fish camps  in  Central Florida.  A tour is approximately  1 1/2 hours, including a stop on the shore of the Historical St. Johns River. The tour allows time to enjoy a feel of the river / airboat experience. Passengers are encouraged to bring cameras and perhaps a hat and jacket. Coolers are permitted. The intent* of the tour is to allow passengers to see and enjoy the natural beauty of the river and understand a little of the history and nature of the river. The Historical St. Johns River is home to a number of fascinating creatures including:

  • Alligators
  • Bald Eagles
  • Otter
  • Manatees
  • Sand Hill Cranes
  • Wood Storks
  • Osprey
  • Herons
  • Deer
  • Wild Hogs
  • Turkey
  • Native Plants such as the Cypress Tree

An airboat allows passengers to see the shallow sloughs and backwaters of the river in a swift, but comfortable manner.
